Three Structured Ways to Bring Your Records Into Order
Each service is a discrete organisational engagement — from a single two-hour session to a six-month retainer. The right starting point depends on where you are and what your records situation looks like.
Back to HomeHow Tenurely Structures the Work
Each Tenurely service begins from the same premise: a working life produces records, and those records need to be found, labelled, and organised before they can be useful to anyone — including the person whose working life they represent.
The method is period-based. We work through employment history in sequence, by employer and by year, identifying what documents belong to each period and which of those are present, absent, or uncertain. That framework keeps the work concrete and the gaps visible.
Nothing is interpreted. No statement is made about what the records mean for retirement outcomes. The work produces an organised file, not a conclusion.
Period-Based Mapping
Employment history addressed by employer and year, in sequence, not as a summary.
Document Type Checklist
A standard list of record types cross-referenced against each employment period.
Your Own Correspondence
Letters prepared in your name, reviewed and signed by you, sent by you. No proxy correspondence.
A File You Can Hand Over
The end product is formatted for use by a registered professional without further preparation.
Working Life Timeline Session
A guided session in which you construct a timeline of your employment periods and note which documents belong to each, using a printed template and a coordinator's questions as prompts. The session teaches record-keeping method and nothing else: no advice, no interpretation, no statement about entitlements. Two hours, individually or with a family member present.
What is included
- Two-hour coordinator-led session
- Completed employment timeline (printed, yours to keep)
- A blank spare timeline template
- Written list of record types associated with each period
- One family member may attend at no extra cost
How the session runs
Coordinator introduces the template and walks through the period-by-period structure
Client recalls each employer and working period; coordinator asks prompting questions
Document types for each period are identified and marked as present, absent, or uncertain
Completed timeline is reviewed and signed off; client takes all printed materials
Best for: individuals who want to understand what they hold and what is missing, in a single session
