A Calm, Methodical Approach to Records Work
Tenurely was set up around a simple observation: that people approaching retirement often have incomplete, scattered, or poorly labelled records — and that this situation is easier to address than most assume, with the right structured support.
Back to HomeHow Tenurely Came to Be
Tenurely began in Petaling Jaya in 2019, when its founders — both with backgrounds in document management and administrative coordination — noticed a recurring pattern among clients of a local professional services firm. People who were months away from retirement frequently arrived at appointments unable to name all of their previous employers, unsure which documents they held, and without any organised file covering their working life.
The problem was not unusual. A working life of twenty or thirty years tends to accumulate paperwork across multiple employers, addresses, and institutional formats. Without a deliberate effort to consolidate that material, the records become scattered — some in storage boxes, some lost in house moves, some simply never collected from former HR departments.
What the founders observed was that this situation was resolvable. The work required patience, a clear method, and a coordinator willing to spend the necessary time with each person. It did not require legal or financial expertise — only organisational discipline and a good template.
Tenurely was established to provide exactly that: a structured, unhurried environment where individuals can map their employment history, identify which records they need to locate, and build a complete file — at their own pace, without pressure.
What We Stand For
Clarity Over Speed
We do not rush. Each record type, each employment period, each gap in a file is addressed in sequence, without skipping or summarising. The work takes as long as it needs to.
Your Name, Your Signature
All correspondence remains with you. We prepare formats and keep logs, but nothing is written or sent in your name. Your records process belongs to you.
Scope Boundaries Held Firmly
We are not lawyers, financial planners, or advisers. We say so plainly. If a question falls outside organisational work, we say so and point toward the appropriate professional.
Transparent Process
At every stage, clients know what has been done, what remains outstanding, and what the next step is. Nothing is managed on their behalf without them being informed.
The People Behind the Work
A small team with background in administrative coordination and document management, focused on records organisation and nothing else.

Standards We Hold to in Every Engagement
These are not aspirational statements. They are practical commitments that shape every session, every letter template, and every archive entry we produce.
Confidentiality by Default
All material shared with Tenurely is treated as confidential. No document contents, reference numbers, or employment details are discussed with anyone outside the session without explicit written consent.
Documented Scope at Engagement Start
Every engagement begins with a written confirmation of what is included, what is not, and what Tenurely will and will not do. Clients retain a copy before any work starts.
Review at Each Milestone
Multi-session engagements include a written progress summary at each milestone. Clients see exactly what has been completed, what is outstanding, and what comes next before any further work continues.
Data Handling Aligned with PDPA
Personal data handled by Tenurely is processed in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Data collected during engagements is retained only for the duration of the active engagement and a reasonable post-engagement period, then deleted.
Scope Boundaries Clearly Maintained
If a client question requires legal, financial, or medical input, we say so directly and pause. We maintain a directory of registered professionals in Selangor for referral purposes, but make no recommendations and receive no referral fees.
Consistent Template Standards
All letter formats and archive templates used by Tenurely are reviewed annually. Clients receive the current version at the time of their engagement, and any updates are communicated during active retainer periods.
Retirement Records Work in Malaysia: What We Know and How We Help
Pension and retirement documentation in Malaysia spans multiple institutions and formats. Employees Provident Fund (EPF) statements, Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) records, private pension arrangements, employer payroll records, annual leave encashment documents, gratuity letters — each employer, each period of employment, each type of contribution leaves behind its own paper trail.
For someone who has worked for four or five employers over thirty years, across industries and possibly states, that trail becomes genuinely difficult to follow without a structured method. The question of which records to locate, from which employer, for which period, in which format — is one that benefits from a clear template and a coordinator who has navigated the same questions many times before.
Tenurely brings that method to individuals in Petaling Jaya and the wider Klang Valley. Our Working Life Timeline Session is designed for people who want to understand what they hold and what they are missing, in a single two-hour sitting. Our Employer Records Reconstruction Support programme is for those who have already identified gaps and want structured help preparing the correspondence to address them. Our Household Archive Retainer is for those managing a complex, multi-period file who want sustained coordination over a six-month period.
None of these services involves advice on entitlements, legal claims, or financial outcomes. They are organisational in nature. The value they deliver is a well-labelled, chronologically ordered, complete file — one that a registered professional can work with efficiently when the time comes, without having to spend additional time finding out what exists.
Tenurely operates from Damansara Perdana and serves clients across Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Sessions are conducted in English. All template documents are in English. We work with individuals preparing for retirement, people recently retired who need to bring their records up to date, and family members managing documentation on behalf of elderly relatives.
